GDPR Information Clause
In accordance with Article 13(1) and (2) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) [OJ EU L 2016, item 119.1 of 4 May 2016], hereinafter referred to as the GDPR, it is hereby stated that:
1. The administrator of your personal data for the organisation of scientific events is Bronisław Czech University of Physical Culture in Kraków, Al. J. Pawła II 78, 31-571 Kraków (hereinafter referred to as AKF).

3. Your data will be processed for the purposes of scientific event registration (conferences, symposiums, seminars), communication regarding participation in the event, and documenting its course.
4. Your personal data will be processed:
a) pursuant to Article 6, paragraph 1 (e) of the GDPR, that is processing necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest, in connection with the Act of 20 July 2018 - Law on Higher Education and Science (consolidated text: Journal of Laws of 2024, item 1571).
b) pursuant to Article 6 paragraph 1 (b) of the GDPR, that is processing necessary for the execution of a contract – if participation in a scientific event requires the conclusion of a contract,
c) pursuant to Article 6 paragraph 1 (c) of the GDPR, that is processing necessary for AKF to comply with its legal obligations regarding financial, accounting, reporting and archiving documentation,
d) pursuant to Article 6, paragraph 1 (a) of the GDPR, that is based on consent for purposes other than educating, e.g. for the objective of sending information on the activities of AKF and other scientific events, including teaching offers – given that such consent is provided.
5. The recipients of personal data will be authorised AKF employees and entities authorised to obtain such data under applicable law, or entities providing technological support for the IT systems in which personal data will be processed.
6. Your personal data will be processed only for the period necessary to achieve the purposes of personal data processing, i.e. for the period specified in generally applicable law and AKF's internal regulations.
7. Providing personal data is voluntary, but necessary for AKF to achieve the purposes for which it was collected. Failure to provide personal data will result in inability to participate in the scientific event.
8. If you are not accepted for a scientific event, your personal data will be processed for no longer than six months following the completion of recruitment, unless you have given consent pursuant to Article 6 (1) (a) of the GDPR. In such a case, your personal data will be processed for the period necessary to fulfil the purpose indicated in the consent clause or until consent is withdrawn. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out before the withdrawal of consent. You can send a declaration of withdrawal of consent to the email address
9. You have the right to request access to your data from the administrator, to rectify it, restrict its processing, and object to its processing in the cases and the conditions specified in the GDPR.
10. Your personal data will not be subject to automated decision-making or profiling.
11. Your personal data will not be transferred to third parties or international organisations.
12. You have the right to file a complaint with a supervisory authority if you believe that the processing of your personal data violates the provisions of the GDPR.
